As a horse dies in a distant land, a wandering poet announces the news. Following this announcement, two sisters living isolated in a cabin in the desert then embark on the preparation of a funeral ritual. Following a mysterious forgotten tradition, they work to create an “urn of lamentations”: they walk in the desert to collect clay and make a pottery in which they collect their tears, then they seal and bury it to honor the deceased horse.
