This series explores the emergence of a texture from an optimized space.
The starting point is characterized by a random distribution of points, these are then connected in such a way as to create the maximum number of connections without them overlapping.
Each of the works and their uniqueness is based on the relationship of the number of points to a given surface associated with tension settings and optimization of the organization of space. Plastic research consists in exploring the multiplicity of resulting spaces. The resulting structures correspond to the way a network of bubbles or even a network of neurons is structured.
This series is the result of ongoing research work; in collaboration with Dr. Laurent Perrinet, neuroscientist researcher. The purpose of this research was to develop a graphical algorithm conducive to displaying visual figures. The developed program is based on the formulas of Voronï, Poisson sampling, Optimal packing.
