“Tomorrow the storm”

The drawings which cover these pages are part of a vocabulary linked to abstraction, yet they are a force of representation and – over the pages – hollow out a story. My interest in the elements of the landscape linked to meteors and our ecological concerns.

The title resonates with James Baldwin’s “Next time on fire”, it questions our torpor and warns us.

As in the rest of my plastic research, the notion of environment is questioned in what it draws as the relationship between us (our artefacts and our representations) and other living beings and founding elements of our environment.
