“The time of a plant”

“The time of a plant”, 2020. Unique photo prints (beginning and end of the exhibition). Pearl paper, 50 cm x 60 cm with frame.

“The time of a plant”

She,

the metronome plant

give the measure.

The work The Time of a Plant invites us to observe our environment from another angle. Nature becomes a measuring tool, a daily metronome. The growth of leaves and roots, the gradual erosion of the earth symbolize the passage of time. Relieved of any pot, the plant is dressed in the forms of contemporary art by carrying its own base. The artist photographs the work on the first and last day of the exhibition, immortalizing Le temps d’une Plante.
