“The map of utopia”, 2022. Video game.
The game map plays an important role in the construction of the virtual world, the work is inspired by the illustration of the novel Utopia by Thomas More. Utopia was born out of human dissatisfaction with the display of today’s world, and it is a virtually perfect city-state in people’s minds. Many people avoided reality and escaped into the virtual world. How far can today’s virtual world be built towards the ideal world of human beings? Is the virtual world a place of liberation from human sins or a utopia?
