This chair found inspiration in the world of US Rap. The “Purple drank” also called “Lean” has since several years the favorite drink/drug of several US rappers, such as A$AP ROCKY who dedicated a song to it. It is a simple mix between sprite and a codeine-based cough syrup. Syrup that gives it this purple color.
7 tubes, bent, welded then leveled are needed to make this chair. The whole is then sand, with different grits, to finally be polished, which gives it that shine. The last step is to paint part of the tube in purple to recall the drink from which it draws its inspiration.
