“Pine Cup”

“Pine Cup”. Parian Porcelain, 3D printed PLA, 6x6x11cm.

This hybrid object is part of the designer’s ongoing dialogue between physical and digital ways of making. The top is made out of slip-casted porcelain.

For this series the designer had scanned various shapes she made out of clay. These handshape forms are 3D printed and then combined with the porcelain part in order to create these pedestal cups.
