“Retained by its branch, the suspended leaf seems to fly”.
Inspired by the natural principle of the petiole, the stem that attaches the leaf to the branch, and which are one. It is a line of objects full of finesse and fluidity that Alexandre shows us.
The base is here the element that holds the whole object. Worked with the technique of steam bending, the solid wood is pushed to the limits of its elasticity.
These lines thus created bring a great lightness to the whole piece of furniture, whose top – the leaf -, carved by hand, seems to be naturally connected to the legs.
Pushed to its limits, the wood shows the power of its support for the top, all in lightness and fluidity.
Material: Oak from the Hauts-de-France region.
Finish: Matte Natural Oil, Deep Black Stain, Charcoal Stain Oil
