These photographs are views of art gallery stands digitally emptied of their works. This series of 10 photographs was taken during the FIAC (International Contemporary Art Fair) in 2014 at the Grand Palais in Paris. Pauses is an early look at contemporary art fairs in the age of virtual reality and the development of digital platforms for purchasing works on the Internet.
