“Chicago orange”

“Orange Chicago”, 2005.
2/8 + 2EA signed and numbered, Baryta Hahnemühle fine art print, print and frame on request, 100 x 75cm (white margin included 4 cm rotating).

This photograph, taken in the streets of Chicago, is a bridge between reality and abstraction. Under a midday sun, it blows up the contrasts. Geometric lines confront the cracks and shapes of the bags, and the power of orange contrasts with the neutral grey of the concrete. It is a very fine composition that superposes the plan of the bags on a three-dimensional background.
