“Off-screen”

Cinematographic off-camera is all that happens in a film without being show in the pictures. This video was conceived from the following questioning: how can a sculpture be filmed without it becomes a record, a documentation. From this starting point I remembered the beginning of Brian de Palma’s Body Double a film can hide another one. A cementmixer altered to become a sort of drill moves awkwardly down a tunnel. Gradually the video shows the removal of the first purpose to show how the film is being shot.
