“November/December 2021”

“November/December 2021”, 2021 – 2022. Linocut, frottage, ink and colored pencil, 21 x 29.7 cm. Work sold unframed.

From elements recovered at the doorstep of a Montreuil linocut workshop in the fall of 2021, linoleum engravings are created. Tree leaf, candy wrapper, branch, cardboard, cup, etc., natural and waste mix together. These unique compositions made up of randomly printed elements on the paper are observations of what makes up our soil.

Funds created by rubbing come to unify them. Similar to natural materials in their shapes and textures, these backgrounds nevertheless come from industrial floor coverings: tiles, manholes, concrete.
