“When appearing wins out over being” … This issue is often addressed and questioned by the artist. This mirror reflects the image of our society: imbued with itself, egocentric, and unable to act in the face of the world crumbling before its eyes.

Blinded by our personal needs, we are no longer able to see beyond our own needs in this opaque mirror. Only Snow White’s famous line “Mirror mirror on the wall who’s fairest of them all” stands out. (Mirror my beautiful mirror tell me who is the most beautiful)

Spray paint, acrylic and varnish on an old wooden mirror frame.
