“Forma Curva 03”

Only two right angled foam blocks with a tubular neoprene sleeve around are needed to shape an armchair function around a metal frame. All cuts are in right angle being very little leftover resulting from formalistic decisions.

This chair is part of the collection FORMAS CURVAS, a self developed upholstery method that requires no screw, bolts, glue, wood or any other kind of mechanical or chemical connector in order to achieve function. A simplistic approach to this vernacular knowledge where the properties of the involved materials are used to their best without the need of hidden structures or capricious cuts.
