Artistic approach :

Anchored in issues relating to tropicalism, Florian Viel’s work uses the springs of imagery constructed through the Western prism.

Between the deconstruction of stereotypes and the desecration of art, the plastic artist develops works with a smooth aesthetic, which evacuate the traces of the hand and the gesture of the artist. If the object previously dominated his thinking, the installation device today occupies the center of the preoccupations of an artist who is interested in the concept of total work, and more recently in that of works practicable by the public . Beyond a formal reflection, it offers above all an experience. Aware of contemporary issues, he gradually introduces an eco-logical perspective in his works.
