“Butterfly Sofa x Casamance”

Marine Peyre engages in an exercise in style and reinterprets her BUTTERFLY model with the FIFTIES fabric from the CASAMANCE editor. The furniture gives shape to a bold design of large black polka dots on a white background and a subtle materiality through the relief play of the pattern. Fireside chair and ottoman come together and unite through the hypnotic repetition of graphics. The furniture is thus shifted in its temporality, between 50′ graphics and pop lines, and becomes resolutely contemporary. A removable headrest made of foam tube is added to the back of the fireside chair, an invitation to total rest.
