Wattebled Thomas
Thomas Wattebled est un artiste plasticien français né en Normandie en 1990, il vit et travaille à Orléans.
Il est titulaire d'un master en théorie de l'Université d'Amiens et d'un DNSEP à l'ESBA d'Angers sous la direction de l'artiste Alain Declercq.
Thomas Wattebled a notamment participé au Salon de Montrouge 2018 et à l'International Art Fair Vilnius 2019 avec son projet SHIFT qui allie performance, sculpture et livraison de vélos.
Son travail protéiforme jette un regard mélancolique sur notre société de la performance et des loisirs. Il a eu des expositions personnelles à la Galerie Vasistas (nul si découvert, Montpellier, 2019) et à la Galerie Dohyang Lee (P R E S Q U E, Paris, 2020).
Thomas Wattebled is a French visual artist born in Normandy in 1990, he lives and works in Orléans.
He holds a master's degree in theory from the University of Amiens and a DNSEP from the ESBA in Angers under the supervision of the artist Alain Declercq.
Thomas Wattebled notably participated in the Salon de Montrouge 2018 and the International Art Fair Vilnius 2019 with his SHIFT project which combines performance, sculpture and bicycle delivery.
His multifaceted work takes a melancholy look at our performance and leisure society. He has had personal exhibitions at Galerie Vasistas (no one if discovered, Montpellier, 2019) and at Galerie Dohyang Lee (P R E S Q U E, Paris, 2020).
