Norberg Saga
Saga Norberg est une artiste suédoise qui vit et travaille à Stockholm. Elle a commencé comme peintre et a beaucoup peint ses trois premières années d'études en écoles d'art.
Après cela, elle obtient une maîtrise en art textile à HDK à Göteborg. Elle travaille à ce moment la beaucoup avec des patchworks, faits de tissus sérigraphiés et peints, puis décide d'interrompre sa carrière d'artiste textile.
Elle souhaite se remettre à la peinture et entreprendre un travail avec des petites figurines faites de différents matériaux.
Actuellement, elle développe une méthode de travail dans laquelle elle combine la peinture avec le collage et l'assemblage.
Saga Norberg is a Swedish artist who lives and works in Stockholm. She started as a painter and painted a lot her first three years in art schools.
After that she took a MFA in Textile art at HDK in Gothenburg. It went quite well, she got some attention for her patchworks, made of screen printed and painted fabrics, but despite that she decided to interrupt her career as a textile artist.
She wanted to start painting again, and to continue working with her small figures made of different materials.
Currently she has developed a working method in which she combines painting with collage and assemblage.
