Seidel Laila
Née en 1982, vit et travaille en Allemagne et en République tchèque.
« La peinture de Laila Seidel renvoie à des photographies prises sur place. Cela crée des images qui semblent provenir directement du moment et capturer un événement, une personne, un mouvement ou même simplement une impression en peinture. Elle ne s'intéresse pas à la reproduction exacte de l'événement, mais plutôt à la capture d'une vision. Les couleurs vives avec lesquelles elle met en œuvre sa peinture en parlent également. La peinture n'est ni réaliste ni abstraite. Au contraire, Laila Seidel joue avec les différents genres de peinture et crée ainsi son propre style unique.

Laila Seidel a organisé plusieurs expositions internationales et échanges d'artistes avec des artistes de Pologne, des Pays-Bas, de République tchèque, de Hongrie et de Slovaquie.
Elle se consacre aux collaborations et participe régulièrement à des résidences d'artistes et à des symposiums de la Lettonie à la Roumanie en passant par le Kirghizistan. Ses œuvres d'art innovantes mettant en vedette diverses techniques, par ex. la peinture sur verre inversé et les papiers découpés sont présentés dans des expositions individuelles et collectives à travers l'Europe.
Born 1982, lives and works in Germany and Czech Republic.
Laila Seidel currently lives in Prague, Czech Republic and Bremen, Germany and has always been travelling a lot – with a focus on Eastern European Countries. These travels are the main inspiration of her artwork.
“Laila Seidel’s painting goes back to photographs taken on site. This creates images that seem to come directly from the moment and capture an event, a person, a movement or even just an impression in painting. She is not concerned with the exact reproduction of the event, but rather with capturing a vision. The stark colors with which she implements her painting also speak for this. The painting is neither realistic nor abstract. Rather, Laila Seidel plays with the different painting genres and thus creates her own unique style.”

Laila Seidel has organized several international exhibitions and artists’ exchanges with artists from Poland, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia.
She is dedicated to collaborations and takes regularly part in artists’ residencies and symposia from Latvia to Romania to Kyrgyzstan. Her innovative artwork featuring various techniques i.g. reverse glass painting and paper cuts is shown in solo and group exhibitions throughout Europe.
