Robert-Rimsky Dimitri
Dimitri Robert-Rimsky est artiste visuel et vidéaste, son travail aborde des problématiques qui sont intimement liées aux fictions politiques, aux récits qui ont servi à la mise en œuvre d’utopies urbaines ou architecturales, aux formes de domestication de la nature ou aux transformations environnementales.
Ses recherches, ancrées dans le débat de l’Anthropocène et la Géohistoire, tendent à glisser vers des considérations liées à la science-fiction.
Il étudie à l’institut supérieur des arts de Toulouse et en Allemagne à la Hochschule für Bildende Künste de Brunswick dans l’atelier de Candice Breitz.
Il cofonde les ateliers Rotolux, qui accueillent depuis 2015, des designers et plasticiens dans différents studios de la banlieue parisienne.
En 2016 il intègre le Programme d’Expérimentation en Art et Politique dirigé par Bruno Latour à l’École d’Affaires Publiques de Sciences Po Paris.
Il participe à des expositions en France et à l’international, notamment lors du festival Hors-Pistes au Centre Pompidou à Paris, à Mécènes du sud à Montpellier, à la Pejman Foundation en Iran, au Celeste Prize à Londres, ainsi qu’avec la Synagogue de Delme dans le cadre de la résidence de l’Atelier Lindre-Basse.
