Mr.Popcorn is an artist. His insistence of remaining anonymous is a combination of his formative years as a tagger, and an intellectual posture reflecting the disintegration of the self and the death of the material world. In short, Mr.Popcorn is no one but his art.
His primary inspiration is music, reflected in the obsessive repetition of drops and splashes in his work. His cynical outlook on the world can be found in posters haunting the street walls of cities all over the world.
Mr.Popcorn’s work is currently shown and sold in San Francisco, Paris, Venezia, Milano, Marseille and Porto.
