Abramovich Patricia
Patricia has always been creative; she loved to draw from an early age, learned to play piano and guitar, and wrote poetry as a teenager. Her parents gave her the freedom to follow her creative instincts and chase her ever-changing passions. Growing up in Paris, Patricia was also profoundly influenced by her everyday surroundings and even considered pursuing architecture. In1972, the family emigrated from Paris to Israel where, shortly after, Patricia met her husband Boris with whom she has two children and grandchildren.
In 1996 Patricia reignited her passion for painting, sparking a sort of obsession where she found herself painting every free minute she had. She fell for watercolors, aquarelles, and the stories they told on paper. Soon though, she met her true love; oils (it was love at first lesson.) In 2007, the discovery of palette knives in lue of brushes, awakened a signature style in Patricia; one of abstract landscapes animated with texture and positively alive with color.
Patricia's inspiration comes from every flower, tree, landscape she comes across. She’s always searching for new ways to awaken nature on the canvas; whether calling up scenery from her imagination or simply letting her hands guide her. It often feels as if the painting appears all by itself.
Patricia a toujours été créative ; elle aimait dessiner dès son plus jeune âge, a appris à jouer du piano et de la guitare et a écrit de la poésie à l'adolescence. Ses parents lui ont donné la liberté de suivre ses instincts créatifs et de poursuivre ses passions en constante évolution. Ayant grandi à Paris, Patricia a également été profondément influencée par son environnement quotidien et a même envisagé de poursuivre l'architecture. En 1972, la famille émigre de Paris en Israël où, peu de temps après, Patricia rencontre son mari Boris avec qui elle a deux enfants et petits-enfants.
En 1996, Patricia a ravivé sa passion pour la peinture, déclenchant une sorte d'obsession où elle s'est retrouvée à peindre chaque minute de libre dont elle disposait. Elle a craqué pour les aquarelles, les aquarelles et les histoires qu'elles racontaient sur papier. Bientôt cependant, elle a rencontré son véritable amour; les huiles (c'était le coup de foudre à la première leçon.) En 2007, la découverte des couteaux à palette en teinte de pinceaux, réveille un style signature chez Patricia ; l'un des paysages abstraits animés de texture et positivement vivants de couleur.
L'inspiration de Patricia vient de chaque fleur, arbre, paysage qu'elle rencontre. Elle est toujours à la recherche de nouvelles façons d'éveiller la nature sur la toile ; qu'il s'agisse d'appeler des paysages de son imagination ou simplement de laisser ses mains la guider. On a souvent l'impression que le tableau apparaît tout seul;
