Morales Tovar Fernanda
Fernanda Morales Tovar, (Mexican, b., 1992). She is a visual artist whose work explores the analogies and dialectics existing in the environment that promote the conjunction of nature and urban devices in everyday life. She constructs a visual archeology based on the interpretation and proposal of signs of the intersection of spaces, the human being, the stories, the ruin, and the landscape, through the use of paint.
She earned her MFA (2018-2020) and her BFA (2011-2015) in Visual Art from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. She completed an Academic Research Stay at the Complutense University of Madrid - Spain (2019). She was a beneficiary of the "Young Creators" in the Painting category, Fellowship of the System of Supports for Creation and Cultural Projects, Secretariat of Culture of the Government of Mexico (2021-2022). Her work has been exhibited in various museums and institutions in Mexico, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Chile, as well as being selected in several International Art Biennials and participated in Art Fairs in Mexico and the Netherlands. Her work has been published in international press and collaborated through of painting "Displaced Nexus" in the handbook cover "The Routledge Handbook of Smuggling", Routledge Handbooks - New York (2021), as well as her work is part of the Mexican Collection Arte Lumen.
Fernanda Morales Tovar, (mexicaine, née en 1992). C'est une artiste plasticienne dont le travail explore les analogies et les dialectiques existant dans l'environnement qui favorisent la conjonction de la nature et des dispositifs urbains dans la vie quotidienne. Elle construit une archéologie visuelle basée sur l'interprétation et la proposition de signes de l'intersection des espaces, de l'être humain, des histoires, de la ruine et du paysage, à travers l'utilisation de la peinture.
Elle a obtenu son MFA (2018-2020) et son BFA (2011-2015) en arts visuels de l'Université nationale autonome du Mexique. Elle a effectué un séjour de recherche académique à l'Université Complutense de Madrid - Espagne (2019). Elle a été bénéficiaire du prix "Jeunes Créateurs" dans la catégorie Peinture, Bourse du Système de Soutien à la Création et aux Projets Culturels, Secrétariat de la Culture du Gouvernement du Mexique (2021-2022). Son travail a été exposé dans divers musées et institutions au Mexique, aux Pays-Bas, au Royaume-Uni et au Chili, ainsi que sélectionné dans plusieurs biennales internationales d'art et a participé à des foires d'art au Mexique et aux Pays-Bas. Son travail a été publié dans la presse internationale et a collaboré à travers la peinture "Displaced Nexus" dans la couverture du manuel "The Routledge Handbook of Smuggling", Routledge Handbooks - New York (2021), ainsi que son travail fait partie de la collection mexicaine Arte Lumen.
