Manoukian Astrid
Bercée et chahutée par les opposés, entre bitume et bosquets, personnalités engagées et havres de paix, Astrid a du construire une échappatoire onirique. Elle s'intéresse à l'expression des corps, leurs facultés à porter autant les rêveries que les désillusions. Leurs bagages, leurs désirs, leurs peurs forment une identité collective et individuelle. Ils sont une écriture et un héritage continus de notre humanité.
Née en 1997 dans le bassin méditerranéen suite à l'immigration de ses ancêtres arméniens, elle se spécialise dès le lycée en cinéma puis étudie au BTS audiovisuel de Cannes ainsi que les métiers de la communication visuelle à l'ECV. Cette obsession pour le visuel la pousse à explorer l'analogique avec un Fisheye 1 puis un Minolta. Très vite, suite à de nombreuses expériences et rencontres, la conjoncture des luttes préoccupe et détermine son travail dans les arts visuels. Les combats menés dans les rues, le déchaînement des corps en milieu festif et la torpeur du soleil créent un cocktail explosif dans son imaginaire. Elle utilise principalement la technique du prisming lors de ses prises de vues. L'humain ainsi que ses tentatives d'humanité demeurent au centre de ses intérêts.
Cradled and heckled by opposites, between asphalt and groves, committed personalities and havens of peace, Astrid had to build a dreamlike escape. She is interested in the expression of bodies, their ability to carry daydreams as well as disillusions. Their baggage, their desires, their fears form a collective and individual identity. They are a continuing writing and legacy of our humanity.
Born in 1997 in the Mediterranean basin following the immigration of her Armenian ancestors, she specialized in cinema in high school and then studied at the audiovisual BTS in Cannes as well as the visual communication professions at the ECV. This obsession for the visual pushes her to explore analog with a Fisheye 1 and then a Minolta. Very quickly, following numerous experiences and encounters, the conjuncture of the struggles preoccupies and determines her work in the visual arts. The fights fought in the streets, the unleashing of bodies in a festive environment and the torpor of the sun create an explosive cocktail in his imagination. She mainly uses the technique of prisming during her shots. The human and his attempts at humanity remain at the center of her interests.
