Leoni Florence
Florence Leoni, née et vit à Paris, commence sa carrière en 2011 en ouvrant la galerie éponyme, 151 rue Amelot Dans le 11ème arrondissement de Paris .
Dans ce lieu plus proche du laboratoire , que de la galerie marchande se croisent artistes en tout genre.
Jeunes diplômés des Beaux-arts (Lina Ben Rajeb, Jean-Baptiste Lenglet) artistes confirmés (Lionel Sabatté , Loris Ceccini , Loic Raguénès, Simon Rouby …) Musiciens de la scène underground (Chassol, Olaf Hund, Etienne Jaumet, Vava Dudu, Paul Armand Delille) et noctambules affamés d’art.
Le lieu est autant connu pour ses expositions pluridisciplinaires que pour ses nuits endiablées.
A travers cette première expérience , Florence Leoni commence à s’exprimer d’abord par un journal mensuel (dont elle est la rédactrice en chef) , dans lequel elle mélange interviews des artistes exposés et articles à tendances philosophiques.
Le collage lui vient d’abord par l’articulation d’interview imaginaire inventé en 2011 , où elle fait communiquer deux protagonistes qui n’auraient pas pu se rencontrer (Marilyn Monroe & Claude Cahun, Stephen Hawking & Philippe k Dick ou encore William Blake & Allen Ginsberg) .
Aujourd’hui, ses œuvres s’inspirent très souvent, de livres, d’icônes ou encore de musiques laissant ainsi à travers ses manifestes manuscrits, percevoir les sous-textes d’imaginaires paradigmes.
Florence Leoni est représentée chez Maison contemporain depuis juin 2020.
Florence Leoni, born and living in Paris, began her career in 2011 in
opening the eponymous gallery, 151 rue Amelot In the 11th arrondissement
district of Paris .
In this place closer to the laboratory than to the shopping arcade
cross artists of all kinds.
Young Fine Arts graduates (Lina Ben Rajeb, Jean-Baptiste Lenglet) confirmed artists (Lionel Sabatté, Loris Ceccini, Loic Raguénès, Simon Rouby ...) Musicians of the underground scene (Chassol, Olaf Hund, Etienne Jaumet, Vava Dudu, Paul Armand Delille) and art hungry night owls.
The place is known as much for its multidisciplinary exhibitions as for its frenzied nights.
Through this first experience, Florence Leoni begins to express herself through a monthly newspaper (of which she is the editor-in-chief), in which she mixes interviews of the artists exhibited and articles with philosophical tendencies.
The collage comes to her first through the imaginary interview articulation invented in 2011, where she communicates two protagonists who could not have met (Marilyn Monroe & Claude Cahun, Stephen Hawking & Philippe k Dick or William Blake & Allen Ginsberg).
Today, his works are very often inspired by books, icons or even music, thus leaving, through his manifesto manuscripts, to perceive the sub-texts of imaginary paradigms.
