Karp Laurie
Artiste-plasticienne française d'origine New Yorkaise, Laurie Karp s'établit à Paris en 1979 après ses études à RISD (Rhode Island School of Design), Etats-Unis. Elle vivra aussi en Asie (Hong Kong et Taiwan), Hawaïi, et Australie.
Dans sa création elle privilégie des métamorphoses, formes hybrides, et mythologies personnelles, travaillant surtout en sculpture céramique ou en broderie sur image numérique.
Ses pratiques artistiques incluent également la vidéo, l'enregistrement sonore, le dessin.
