Girondeau Marc-Antoine
Marc-Antoine Girondeau est né en 1990 à Dreux.
Diplômé de l’école des arts de la Sorbonne en 2020, Marc-Antoine Girondeau vit et travaille entre Paris et Boulogne - sur - Mer. Lauréat 2021 du programme TRAVERSées, il a déjà pu collaborer avec Agnès Varda, André Robillard ou encore Jean - Luc Verna. Ses travaux ont notamment été exposés au Centre Pompidou.
Son esthétique aborde la question du sujet et de son aliénation par la dynamique des écrans dans nos sociétés. Issu de la génération Y, de l’anglais why, il s’interroge sur la construction de la personnalité dans une société écranifiée, à travers différents médiums comme la photographie, la sérigraphie, l’édition et la vidéo. En un sens, il tente de virtualiser la réalité pour échapper au traumatisme de son passé et aux inquiétudes de son avenir.
Marc-Antoine Girondeau was born in 1990 in Dreux.
A graduate of the Sorbonne School of Arts in 2020, Marc-Antoine Girondeau lives and works between Paris and Boulogne - sur - Mer. Winner of the 2021 TRAVERSées program, he has already been able to collaborate with Agnès Varda, André Robillard and Jean Luke Verna. His works have notably been exhibited at the Center Pompidou.

Coming from generation Y, from the English why, he questions the construction of personality in a screen-based society, through different mediums such as photography, screen printing, publishing and video. In a sense, he tries to virtualize reality to escape the trauma of his past and the worries of his future.
