Aiello Pini Federica
Federica Aiello Pini vit et travaille en Italie. Elle a obtenu un baccalauréat ès beaux-arts, magna cum laude, en peinture de l'Accademia di Belle Arti de Bologne, avec la thèse en théorie de la perception et psychologie de la forme "Intorno al quadrato", et s'est spécialisée en illustration à la Scuola Internazionale di Comics à Florence. Elle a approfondi les significations et les effets des couleurs dans la Masterclass "La couleur comme symbole communicatif personnel" au MiMaster de Milan, en 2013.
Sélectionnée pour la Masterclass en Arts Visuels et Design de la Biennale de Venise "Les signes d'eau, le papier et ses traditions : techniques et méthodes de fabrication du papier à la main à travers le processus de création", elle a eu l'opportunité d'approfondir et de consolider la relation au papier, un matériau si familier et si important dans ses recherches. En 2007, elle a été présentée dans le Top 10 de la Saatchi Gallery par Rebecca Wilson, co-directrice de la Saatchi Gallery à Londres.
En 2008, elle a remporté le concours national italien Artefatta, grâce auquel elle a monté son exposition personnelle "Digression" dans le suggestif Castello degli Agolanti à Riccione. La même année, elle a été finaliste du concours national italien d'illustration Concorso Gino Per-rone, XIII Edizione, et en 2009, elle a reçu une mention spéciale au concours Co.Co.Co Como Contemporary Italian National Competition of Contemporary Art. En 2011 et 2012 a été finaliste du Concours National Italien d'Art Contemporain Premio Ricoh, et en 2012 et 2013 a été finaliste du Concours National Italien d'Art Contemporain Mantegna Cercasi. En 2019, il a été lauréat du concours de portrait d'artrepreneur - section illustration.
Au cours de sa carrière, elle a exploré et développé ses recherches à travers des performances live, souvent en collaboration avec des musiciens : d'abord en Italie avec la compagnie Teatro all'Improvviso pour "Summer Solstice. La musique des merveilles" au Palazzo Te, Mantoue en 2012, puis en Hollande à la galerie Amstel 41 d'Amsterdam, et à Panama City pour Jeronimo Gallery. Ces performances en direct l'ont amenée à être invitée en tant que professeure invitée à l'ESAD (Escuela Superior de Arte Dramático) de Cordoue (Espagne), pour diriger une série d'ateliers pour le cursus d'études d'interprétation et de scénographie, en 2013. De 2016 à 2020, ses travaux ont eu lieu à l'ambassade du Portugal au Panama. En 2020, elle expose dans l'exposition internationale Human Rights? The Future's Shape #Womencansavetheworld à l'appui de l'égalité des sexes, objectif 5 des objectifs de développement durable des Nations Unies. L'événement a eu lieu à la Fondazione Campana dei Caduti à Rovereto et a été parrainé par AIAPI -UNRIC - UNESCO. Federica a déménagé plusieurs fois à l'étranger : elle aime explorer les liens et les sentiments humains, c'est pourquoi la figure humaine est souvent transformée en abstraction au cours de son processus créatif, tout aussi abstraites et universelles sont les expériences qu'elle exprime à travers le thème du baiser, récurrent dans sa production. La nature a également été une énorme source d'inspiration, en particulier pendant et après les années où elle a vécu au Panama, où elle était si magnifiquement omniprésente, et au Portugal, où elle pouvait profondément ressentir l'énergie forte et sauvage de l'océan Atlantique. De plus, sa passion pour les mystères de l'Univers et la physique quantique influence constamment sa façon de rêver, de penser et de travailler. Dans ses œuvres, elle ne cesse de parcourir ces thèmes avec son style, rappelant que tout est lié et que tout est fait de la même matière; Ses œuvres sont conservées dans des collections privées en Italie, en France, en Allemagne, en Hollande, en Espagne, au Portugal, aux États-Unis, au Panama et en Colombie.
Federica Aiello Pini lives and works in Italy. She further explored the meanings and effects of colors in the Masterclass "Color as a personal communicative symbol" at the MiMaster in Milan, in 2013. Selected for the Masterclass in Visual Art and Design at the Venice Biennale "Water signs, paper, and its traditions: techniques and methods for making paper by hand through the creative process", she had the opportunity to deepen and consolidate the relationship with paper, a material so familiar and so important in her research. In 2007 she was featured in the Saatchi Gallery Top 10 by Rebecca Wilson, co-director of Saatchi Gallery in London.
In 2008 won the Italian national contest Artefatta, thanks to which she set up her personal exhibition "Digression" in the suggestive Castello degli Agolanti in Riccione. In 2011 and 2012 was a finalist of the Italian National Competition of Contemporary Art Premio Ricoh, and in 2012 and 2013 was a finalist of the Italian National Competition of Contemporary Art Mantegna Cercasi. In 2019 was the winner of the Artrepreneur Portrait Competition - Illustration Section. Over the course of her career, she has explored and developed her research through live performances, often in collaboration with musicians: first in Italy with the company Teatro all'Improvviso for "Summer Solstice. The music of wonders" at Palazzo Te, Mantua in 2012, then in Holland at Amstel 41 gallery of Amsterdam, and in Panama City for Jeronimo Gallery. These live performances led her to be invited as a visiting professor to the ESAD (Escuela Superior de Arte Dramático) in Cordoba (Spain), to conduct a series of work-shops for the course of studies in Acting and Scenography, in 2013. From 2016 to 2020 her works were held at the Portuguese Embassy in Panama. In 2020 she exhibited in the international show Human Rights? The Future's Shape #Womencansavetheworld in support of Gender Equality, Goal 5 of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The event took place at the Fondazione Campana dei Caduti in Rovereto and was sponsored by AIAPI -UNRIC - UNESCO. Federica moved to foreign countries several times: she loves to explore human connections and feelings, that’s why the human figure is often transformed into abstraction during her creative process, just as abstract and universal are the experiences which she expresses through the theme of the kiss, recurring in her production. Nature has been an enormous inspiration as well, particularly during and after the years she's been living in Panama, where it was so beautifully pervasive, and in Portugal, where she could deeply feel the strong and wild energy of the Atlantic ocean. Also, her passion for the mysteries of the Universe and quantum physics is constantly influencing the way she dreams, thinks, and works. In her artworks, she keeps moving across these themes with her style, as a reminder of the fact that everything is connected, and everything is made of the same matter.
Her works are held in private collections in Italy, France, Germany, Holland, Spain, Portugal, USA, Panama, and Colombia.
