Romain Erkiletlian a toujours été influencé par les paysages urbains dans lesquels il a vécu, et leurs esthétiques particulières dont il cree une synthèse dans son travail a travers différents medias.
Dans cette dernière série de sculptures et design, Romain Erkiletlian développe les themes de la connectivité, et du lien entre les espaces autour de ses MACADAM METEORS, liens intermédiaires, entre les espaces infinis et terrestres.
A la fois mouvantes et hypnotiques, organiques et minérales leurs formes, leurs textures et leurs couleurs ultra-nuancées rayonnent d une vibration particulière.
Inspire par l architecture de Lebbeus Wood, la Science-Fiction des années 60 a 80, l espace, et certains principes hermétiques de l architecture, l artiste nous dévoile un univers cyberpunk chic, dont les elements se connectent aussi bien a l homme qu'a un espace infini.
