Decourcy Robin
Robin Decourcy est performer, chorégraphe et artiste visuel, créateur des Trek Danse.
Il a suivi des études à la Villa Arson et aux Beaux Arts de Mexico DF. À Nice, il monte un lieu d'art alternatif le Désappartement et plus tard une association d'artistes marcheurs autour de la Méditerranée.
Sa pratique in situ, s'est modifiée au cours de ses voyages en Chine, au Mexique, en Amérique Latine et en Amérique du Sud.
Sa rencontre avec Paul Mc Carthy, Julyen Hamilton, Lisa Nelson, John Giorno, Yvonne Rainer et différents créateurs du mouvement Fluxus le mène à intégrer des techniques d'improvisation et de partition en temps réel, pratiques qu'il enseigne aujourd'hui sous différentes formes.
Il intervient dans des structures dédiées à la danse en tant que chorégraphe et performer et continue par ailleurs à exposer son travail plastique en galeries et en centres d'art.
Engagé dans des pratiques visant à métisser ou à perturber certaines disciplines artistiques, son oeuvre sous-tend une démarche écologique et sociale. Influencé par le land-art, la scène techno des 90's, les peuples-racines et les modes de vie nomades, Robin Decourcy applique différentes alternatives de vies communautaires et créatives sous forme de projets artistiques à long terme, et en alliant des processus de micro-politiques avec les arts vivants. Ses actions artistiques se présentent sous forme d'expériences à partager en public : jeux, stages, conférences, laboratoires, séjours... qui questionnent les normes de l'organisation sociale en modifiant certains usages de techniques professionnelles, de la santé, de l'économie ou du spectacle. Il coopère avec de nombreux artistes, compositeurs, vidéastes, pédagogues ainsi que des praticiens et des chercheurs en anthropologie et en thérapie holistique.
