Balcon Clément
Clément Balcon réalise des dessins aux crayons de couleurs, basés sur des captures d’images de scènes sans sexe de films pornographiques.
Ces scènes d’intermèdes, de trêves, d’attente où les acteurs miment les jeux de l’amour, sont pour moi pleines d’une poésie, d’une tendresse étrange et désarmante.
Etant également sérigraphe, la technique de la quadrichromie est au coeur de ma pratique professionnelle. J’ai choisi d’appliquer ce principe mécanique, voire industriel, à mon dessin, et de décalquer les quatre couches de couleurs (cyan, magenta, jaune et noir).
C’est une mécanique imparfaite, inégale, qui confère à l’image un aspect à la fois dessiné et étrangement photographique.
Pour la série I always want to, and i never want to, chaque portrait est mélé à de l’ornement décoratif et du motif , un motif répété, brisé, superposé, entre l’illustration classique et l’erreur numérique, créant des portraits amoureux et étranges.

I make colored pencil drawings, based on images of sexless scenes from pornographic films.
These scenes of interludes, of truces, of waiting where the actors mimic the games of love, are for me full of poetry, of a strange and disarming tenderness.
Being also a screen printer, the four-color process is at the heart of my professional practice. I chose to apply this mechanical, even industrial, principle to my drawing, and to trace the four layers of colors (cyan, magenta, yellow and black).
It is an imperfect, uneven mechanics that gives the image an appearance that is both drawn and strangely photographic.
For the series I always want to, and i never want to, each portrait is mixed with decorative ornament and motif, a repeated motif, broken, superimposed, between classic illustration and digital error, creating portraits in love and strange.
