Antoine Maurice
Né en 1992, Antoine Maurice vit et travaille dans les Yvelines.
Il se forme au dessin en école d’art puis au travaille du bois à l’école d’ameublement de Paris la Bonne Graine.
Il fonde son atelier en 2017 pour parfaire seul son approche de la création. Il travaille et développe sa propre approche du design.
A mi-chemin entre l’objet fonctionnel et la sculpture, il se sert d’anciennes poutres de maison en ruine ou de bois voué à être jeté pour faire ses créations. Il vise à montrer une nouvelle voie pour la création contemporaine, minimaliste et plus respectueuse de la nature.
Born in 1992, Antoine Maurice lives and works in Yvelines.
He trained in drawing at an art school and then in woodworking at the furniture school in Paris, La Bonne Graine.
He founded his workshop in 2017 to perfect his approach to creation on his own. He works and develops his own approach to design.
Halfway between the functional object and the sculpture, he uses old beams from a ruined house or wood doomed to be thrown away to make his creations. It aims to show a new path for contemporary, minimalist and more nature-friendly creation.
