Jenny Åkerlund, (née en 1984, Stockholm).
Avec un point de départ dans le domaine de la perception, la pratique d'Åkerlund tourne autour des aspects du temps et de la transformation en relation avec la culture visuelle.

With a starting point in the realm of perception, Åkerlund's practice revolves around aspects of time and transformation in relation to visual culture.
Through the use of disciplines such as astronomy, physics and history, and with techniques spanning drawing, video and installation, she explores the impermanence of the visible in different ways.
Åkerlund holds an MFA from Malmö Art Academy.
Her work has been exhibited at Kunsthal Charlottenborg, Copenhagen, Goya Curtain, Tokyo, Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac, Pantin, Galleri Tom Christoffersen, Copenhagen, Galerie Jeanroch Dard, Paris, Weatherspoon Art Museum, Greensboro and Museum of Contemporary Photography, Chicago, among others. .
